GLOBAL CHAPLAIN COALITION

Enable, Equip, & Encourage Chaplains Around The World to Do Ministry to Advance The Kingdom Of GOD.

DR. PAUL STOCKARD, GCC Director

(GCC) is a training and certifying agency dedicated to the formation of Chaplaincy Ministries around the globe. This is accomplished through a combination of several disciplines: education, administration, consulting, and encouragement through Pastoral Care for members. We work with churches, governments and businesses to aid in the establishment of Chaplaincy Ministries at local, national, regional, and continental levels. We certify our Chaplains to be highly trained in working with people across the board – secular and religious – during challenging times in their lives.

The GCC also serves as a type of “support group” for its members; meaning that we provide a forum for Professional Chaplains to be able to dialog with one another concerning the stresses and challenges, as well as the positive influences and outcomes that typically accompany the ministry of Chaplaincy. We also recognize that although cultures and traditions vary from country to country, human suffering is global, and we are dedicated to helping men and women prepare themselves to offer a ministry of presence and accompaniment to those who are in pain.

GCC Recent, present and upcoming activities and involvement:

  • Partnerships in Zambia, Africa
    • BTUC (Berea Theological University College)
      • The Director of the GCC, Dr. Paul Stockard, is the Director of the Chaplaincy Degree program of BTUC 
      • This is a fully accredited 4-year BA Degree in Chaplaincy
      • BTUC, a Church of God Seminary, is now recognized by the Zambian Government as the official training agency for all Zambian Chaplains: military, police, correctional, hospital, etc. 
      • BTUC is the official Flagship School for the Church of God in Africa, recognized as such by Church of God World Missions 
    • CAZ (Chaplains Association of Zambia)
      • Dr. Stockard is the Chairman of the Board for CAZ
        • Other board members to include representatives from:
          • Army (Brigadier General)
          • Air Force 
          • National Police 
          • Ministry of Health 
      • CAZ is now formerly recognized by the Zambian Government as the official vetting and credentialing agency for all Zambian Chaplains (see above list)
